Locking Gate Antwerp

ALE successfully installed two 1,170te horizontal locking gates for the Van Cauwelaertsluis sea lock in Antwerp.

ALE used 48 axles of SPMT with 3 PPUs, four 500te strand jacks and three barges to transport the gates from Ghent to Antwerp, and then two 5te winches and two 3te winches to position them. The project marked the first time that the branch in the Netherlands had tailed a load between two barges.
