Transportation of Hex Boxes, Abu Dhabi

ALE successfully received and transported four 260te Heat Exchanger (Hex) Boxes within The Middle East.

The 13 metres wide x 14 metres high Hex Boxes were received from Mussafah Port, Abu Dhabi using SPMTs and then transported 150km to Mirfa, using conventional trailers.

The engineering studies and route surveys conducted by ALE had to overcome a challenging route, which required the main highway connecting the UAE to other countries in the region to be closed and also a power shutdown of overhead high voltage power transmission lines that crossed the route.
