Pearl Manora Topside load-out, Thailand
ALE successfully completed the load-out of a 518t jacket and the weighing and transport of the 2,740t Pearl Manora Topside at the Sattahip Yard in Thailand.
During stage one of the project, the jacket structures were self-loaded onto the thirty axle lines SPMT for site transportation to the load-out quay and barge.
All calculations for the mooring and ballasting were undertaken by ALE who provided and operated the mooring equipment, link-span bridge system and ballasting pumps.
The topside structure was then self-loaded onto the one hundred and eight axle lines SPMT and transported from the construction area to the lifting position. A crane was then used to lift the topside onto the barge to complete the operation.
