Transport, lifting and turning of a rotor Puertollano, Spain
The scope of work included the transportation, lifting and turning of a 81te rotor blade Spain.
Services required: The rotor was transported from the gas turbine building up to the steam turbine building over a distance of 500m using 8 axles of SPT’s. Once at the building the rotor was manoeuvred into position by use of a SLS700 lifting unit and the hook of a gantry crane. For future repair works a hydraulic structure composed of four jacks each of 30te capacity were installed to allow the rotor to be jacked down for repairs and maintenance.
