ALE has successfully completed the electro-mechanical installation of seven wind turbine generators (WTGs) for the Garayalde wind farm, Argentina.
ALE worked with the crane team to implement the mechanical works and the assembly of the components by their global electro-mechanical installation team.
ALE’s electro-mechanical installation team, comprised of fully-trained installation specialists, performed the activities using very specialised wind turbine installation tooling, which was used for the first time in Argentina and deployed especially for this project.
ALE then performed the electrical works and handed over the turbines fully assembled to the client. This was the first time ALE had performed this installation scope in Argentina and was completed successfully because of the team’s flexibility, local expertise, specialist installation knowledge and equipment.
The team collaboration between many nationalities, such as South African, Argentina, Spanish and Brazilian, demonstrated their operational flexibility, global management and specialist wind capabilities for this market.
