With over thirty years’ industry experience, we know that meeting our moral responsibilities to people, environments and assets is as core to our business performance as our service delivery.
ALE’s Standard Scheme of Training (SSOT), a pragmatic vocational training scheme, is compulsory for all of our operators. This is completely unique in our industry, with training on ALE-specific fleet to mitigate risk, ensure quality and maintain global consistency.
We are investing in our people with in-house learning and development programmes across all departments, including engineering development, exchange schemes and leadership training.
ALE employees are empowered to ensure that our work is completed safely; the ALE way is the safe way, delivered consistently against a robust quality framework.
We are proud of our safety culture, implementing the very best work practices and homogenised standards to ensure consistency across all ALE branches.
All of ALE’s branches work to international standards with a supporting network of HSQE Managers and Advisors to maintain their operational compliance and motivate continual improvement. These global learnings are easily and widely distributed throughout the group.
Achieving and maintaining global consistency is key. ALE branches have achieved accreditation across the regions, with branches certified to ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015, proving that ALE work to and meet the requirements of the internationally-recognised standards.
The safety and well-being of the individuals we work with and the clients we work for is our single most important consideration. Our safety efforts do not go unnoticed and continue to be recognised by our clients. Awards include: ‘World Class Safety Performance’ without any loss-time injuries, ‘Goal Zero Hero’ for our on-site commitment to safety and proactive intervention, and for the embedded safety in our engineering designs and project leadership.
As we continually look to reduce and mitigate risk, we invest in our systems to improve our methods of reporting. By introducing Synergi Life, a HSQE data management system, we go the extra mile to record and analyse our High Potential incidents (HiPo) rate during operations. We have also implemented the Cofano model across our branches to enhance work flow and accountability. Combined, these systems strengthen and improve our HSQE reporting and provide the client with accurate and tangible data.
Clients are assured that all contingencies are planned for by engineering the risk out of the project by the specialised engineering office, instead of on-site by operators.
We pride ourselves on being a full solutions provider, a one stop shop offering an integrated team. This means that our clients only have to deal with one supplier to carry out every aspect of a job, from engineering and project management, to HSQE and training, this enables convenience, consistent standards and gives confidence that risks are mitigated and controlled.
